About ThaiDex

ThaiDex is a digital platform being developed for the trading card game community in Thailand. The platform connects collectors, trainers, stores, events, collections, missions and rewards in one ecosystem.

References to “ThaiDex”, “we”, “us” or “our” refer to the operator of the ThaiDex website, application and related services.

Information we collect

The information we collect depends on how you interact with ThaiDex.

Trainer pre-registration

When you pre-register as a trainer, we may collect:

• Your name or trainer name
• Your email address
• Your phone number or messaging contact
• Your city, province or region
• Your collecting and community interests
• Information submitted through open text fields

Pilot Store registration

When a store applies to join the ThaiDex Pilot Store programme, we may collect:

• Store name and business information
• Contact person and position
• Email address and phone or WhatsApp number
• Store address, city and province
• Google Maps location
• Website and social media profiles
• Information about events and play areas
• Information about customers and community activity
• Uploaded store logos and store photographs

Future ThaiDex platform activity

When future ThaiDex services become available, we may also process information connected to:

• User accounts, profiles and avatars
• Collections and wishlists
• Achievements, badges and missions
• Store visits and QR-code check-ins
• Rewards, giveaways and event participation
• Technical, diagnostic and security information

How we use information

ThaiDex may use collected information to:

• Process trainer pre-registrations
• Process Pilot Store registrations
• Contact trainers and stores about their registration
• Create and manage future user or store profiles
• Provide ThaiDex features and services
• Operate missions, rewards and QR-code systems
• Improve the website and application
• Prevent misuse, fraud and security incidents
• Respond to support requests and questions
• Meet applicable legal obligations

Legal basis for processing

Depending on the situation and applicable law, we may process personal information because:

• You provided consent
• You requested a service or registration
• Processing supports a legitimate ThaiDex business or platform interest
• Processing is required by law
• Processing is needed to protect users, stores or ThaiDex

Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent. Withdrawal does not affect processing that already occurred lawfully.

Storage and security

ThaiDex currently uses Firebase services provided by Google for parts of its database, file storage, authentication and technical infrastructure.

Information may be stored or processed on systems located outside your country. Where required, ThaiDex aims to use appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information against unauthorised access, misuse, alteration, loss or disclosure.

No website, application or online storage system can guarantee absolute security.

When information may be shared

ThaiDex may share limited information with:

• Technology, hosting and storage providers needed to operate ThaiDex
• Professional advisers assisting with legal, security or business matters
• Authorities where disclosure is legally required
• A successor organisation if ThaiDex is transferred or restructured

Service providers should only receive information necessary to perform their services.

Information intended for a public Pilot Store profile may become visible to ThaiDex users. This can include the store name, logo, address, social media links, opening information and event information.

Data retention

ThaiDex aims to retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.

Information may also be retained where necessary to operate the service, maintain security, resolve disputes or meet legal obligations.

Information may be deleted or anonymised when it is no longer required.

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to:

• Request access to your personal information
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of certain information
• Request restriction of certain processing
• Object to certain uses of your information
• Withdraw consent
• Request a portable copy of eligible information

ThaiDex may need to verify your identity before processing a privacy request.

ThaiDex may use essential cookies or similar technologies required for website functionality, security and session management.

If optional analytics, advertising or tracking technologies are introduced later, this policy and any required consent controls will be updated.

Children’s privacy

ThaiDex is intended for the broader trading card game community. Certain future features may require a minimum age or permission from a parent or legal guardian.

ThaiDex does not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children in a manner that is not permitted by applicable law.

A parent or guardian who believes that a child has submitted information without appropriate permission should contact ThaiDex.

ThaiDex may link to stores, social media platforms, map services, event organisers or other external websites.

These external services operate under their own privacy policies. ThaiDex is not responsible for the privacy practices of independent third parties.
